1. His immune system is depleted…

Bamboo, a 15-year-old cat, is carrying the feline immunodeficiency syndrome (FIV). Since the illness took hold, his immune defences are virtually non-existent... We have therefore moved him indoors to look after him.

2. He catches every virus that's going around!

Being so vulnerable, Bamboo has caught cat flu and calicivirus. Thanks to care, we have been able to reduce the severity of his symptoms. But, he still has two ulcers at the tip of his tongue, which make it difficult for him to eat...

3. To keep recovering, he's going to need suitable canned food

Wet food would be easier for Bamboo to swallow than dry kibble. Specially designed for older cats, such canned food would efficiently help him recharge with good nutrients. He could thus keep going, despite the illness.

4. I don't have enough resources to buy more cat food…

In total, I'm looking after 101 struggling cats. Unfortunately, the association's stock of specialised food is empty…

I've had to buy more with my personal finances, but it's not enough to feed all the cats that need it... Everything runs out incredibly quickly!
