Hesia is a 30-year-old Anglo-Arabian mare, suffering from Cushing's disease. She has lived her whole life under stress, which has caused her several health issues, including ulcers. Today, she's missing 9 teeth, and she has lost all her grinding ability! Poor Hesia is eating with her gums, which makes feeding especially challenging.

2. Moistened pellets would help maintain her condition

Moistened pellets would be perfect for Hesia, as grass and hay, even in abundance, are no longer sufficient to maintain her condition. These wet pellets would be easy for her to swallow without the need to chew, providing her with the essential nutrients she needs.
