Caught in a trap, Pancake had to have a leg amputated!

1. She lost a leg due to a trap!

Pancake is a six-year-old cat who found herself caught in a trap. Her leg was so damaged that the only option was to amputate it. Since then, she has learned to live with her disability, making her more vulnerable than her peers.

2. She's got nowhere to take shelter...

Unfortunately, the undergrowth where Mimi lives doesn't provide any real shelter. We have tried to make her one out of polystyrene, but as the area is very wet, the shelter gets waterlogged...

3. With a kennel, she would finally have a secure place to take shelter

A kennel would provide Pancake with a safe refuge to rest in. She would have a place to call her own, where she can be effectively sheltered from the rain. This would offer her the opportunity for a more peaceful sleep.

4. Vet bills are piling up, negatively affecting our budget!

The association is facing a large number of veterinary bills, leaving us with no means to purchase shelters for our little charges living outdoors...

Most have nowhere to take shelter and are exposed to the elements. This makes them more at risk of falling ill and needing care... It's a vicious cycle!
