Suffering from a severe intestinal irritation, poor Lucie is exhausted by heavy diarrhoea!

1. She has significant intestinal troubles…

Lucie is a cat of around four years old who is suffering from a deep intestinal irritation. She is afflicted by severe diarrhoea, which drains her of her energy!

So far, we have not been able to catch her to give her the treatment she needs. The deworming treatments have had no effect, so the vet has prescribed cortisone, which we will give her to soothe her.

2. She sleeps outside!

Poor Lucie is living outside, which is doing nothing to improve her condition. She used to get some shelter in a gentleman's garage, but he no longer allows it as there are too many cats. Lucie tries to find refuge under cars when it rains, but she faces the constant danger of being run over!

3. A cat house would give her the shelter she needs

With a cat house, Lucie wouldn't have to sleep directly on the damp and dirty street ground. She could use it as a shelter, to stay safe from wind and rain. It would be a true comfort for her!

4. Epidemics are spreading among the colony cats…

Currently, there are more and more cats in need. All in all, over 60 moggies are hoping for our help! Sadly, epidemics of calicivirus and cat flu are currently rampant.

The vet costs to care for these cats are astronomical! We no longer have enough budget to purchase blankets and specialised food for those who need them.
