Little Wesley was abandoned in a cardboard box, even though he was very ill!

1. He's been abandoned!

Wesley is a three-month-old kitten, who was abandoned in a cardboard box, at the foot of a building. The poor little thing was left utterly helpless and might not have survived! He must have been lacking food, as he is so skinny…

2. He is very sick…

Unfortunately, Wesley has cat flu. His nose was running and his eyes were full of pus when we took him in.

So we're giving him treatment as his immune system can't fight off the disease. As soon as we stop the medication, the symptoms resurface even stronger…

3. Blankets would protect him effectively from humidity

To avoid getting even more sick, Wesley needs to stay well sheltered from draughts and damp. With blankets, he could preserve his body heat more efficiently despite his weakened state. This would make his sleep more restorative, which would help him regain his health.

4. We don't receive any donations!

With 130 animals to care for and still no donations, the charity is under pressure. Financially, it's a disaster! Finding the funds to buy food and blankets for our charges is becoming increasingly difficult…
