At 29 years old, Moon can no longer chew normally!

1. She can no longer chew properly

Moon is a 29-year-old English thoroughbred mare, who has been a brood mare all her life. She has given birth to 14 foals! Today, her grinding ability has significantly decreased, making her feeding increasingly difficult.

2. Moistened pellets would help augment her diet

To maintain her health, Moon needs meal support in addition to free access to grass and hay. Moistened pellets would be perfect for providing essential nutrients without the need for chewing, thus compensating for her reduced grinding ability. This softened form would allow her to feed properly despite her dental problems.

3. Our financial situation is becoming increasingly tight...

Our association has been facing a steady decline in donations for the last 4 years. We take care of 14 horses, many of whom are elderly and have specific needs. With the increase in the price of feed, it is becoming very difficult to meet the needs of all our wards without external help.
