Hernia, diabetes: poor Victoire has been abandoned, despite having serious health problems!

1. She was abandoned while sick…

Victoire is a 12-year-old cat who was abandoned despite having diabetes. We took her under our care, administering her insulin injections every morning and evening. We also need to monitor her glucose levels monthly to prevent her condition from deteriorating.

2. She has a hernia!

Victoire has such a large hernia that it occupies her entire flank! She no longer has an abdominal wall and sometimes struggles to walk. Sadly, the hernia is too large to operate on... So, we've put a body brace on her to provide support.

3. Blankets would enable her to rest more comfortably

With blankets, Victoire would be able to retain her body heat more efficiently, despite her health issues. This would make her sleep more restorative, helping her to remain strong.

4. We do not receive any donations!

With 130 animals to care for and still no donations, the association is under pressure. Financially, it's a disaster! Finding the funds to buy food and blankets for our charges is becoming increasingly difficult…
