Poor Pirate has a very inflamed throat!

1. He is struggling to eat more and more!

Pirate is a 15-year-old cat, who has lymph nodes in his throat. It is very inflamed, causing him occasional pain when he tries to eat.

We, therefore, take him to the vet every two or three months, so he can receive treatment which is supposed to help ease his suffering...

2. A wet diet would significantly relieve his condition

Wet food would be much easier for Pirate to swallow than kibble. Suitable for his age, such a diet would meet his daily nutritional needs. In spite of his health problems, he would be able to stay healthy and active!

3. An outbreak disrupted everything...

Some of our proteges contracted Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), and sadly there were several casualties.

The care required resulted in significant costs. We are no longer in a position to provide specialised food, blankets and shelters for those in need...
