1. He was in a skeletal state...

Milann is a five-year-old Belgian Malinois who arrived at our shelter two years ago, after living on the island of Reunion. When we first welcomed him, he was completely skin and bones!

2. He still suffers from a tropical disease...!

Milann had giardiasis, a tropical disease caused by a parasite. Unfortunately, he still has gastrointestinal after-effects, which flare up with heat or stress. We give him treatment to ease his discomfort, but he remains thin.

3. Specially formulated canned food could help him regain his strength effectively

A diet specifically designed to help regenerate the intestines would be ideal for Milann. High in nutrients and highly digestible, such canned food would provide him with a daily energy boost. Thus, he could gradually start gaining weight again.

4. We are desperately short of resources...!

Since the Covid pandemic, money has been tighter than ever. We try to buy food for our charges, but our resources are not endless...

At the same time, requests for help continue to flood in. Unfortunately, we can't take in all the animals in need, as we already have 121 darlings to care for!
