Ness is a cat of around ten years old, who we found five years ago outside a restaurant. Unfortunately, he has diabetes and needs two insulin injections per day. However, this treatment is expensive and we no longer have the means to buy the specialised food he needs...
Ness has also lost all his teeth with age. As he can no longer chew dry food, he has lost weight recently...
A wet diet designed to help regulate blood sugar levels would be ideal for Ness.
By providing him with the nutrients his body needs, such canned food would provide valuable energy for him on a daily basis. It would be a great way to help him put on weight, despite the loss of his teeth.
During this summer's holiday departures, there were a lot of abandonments. We therefore had to take on more cats, which means many more mouths to feed!
Between the tomcats from the feeding sites and those in the association, we have around one hundred protégés... unfortunately, donations are at an all-time low!
