APAHC decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of canned food is highly critical.

Poor Opale has been deprived of food and hasn't grown properly!

1. She has considerable growth issues…

Opale is a kitten of about two and a half months. She’s still nursing, but her mum likely doesn't produce enough milk, as she is small and very thin. We have not yet managed to get close enough to provide her with care.

2. She lives outdoors, fending for herself…

Opale is out in the wild with her mum and her siblings, between a village and a wood. She, sadly, has nowhere to seek shelter. Therefore, she lives in the scrubland, at the mercy of countless predators…

3. Kitten-appropriate canned food would help her gain weight

To efficiently restore her stock of good nutrients and gradually wean off milk, Opale will need canned food suitable for kittens.

Gaining access to a diet rich in proteins and vitamins would be a real boon for her continued growth! Little by little, we could get closer to her more easily, so as to better take care of her.

4. Hundreds of cats are relying on us!

This year, we have seen a surge in births. Many of the kittens have been sick, which incurs costs that we struggle to offset…

Indeed, we already have to cater for the needs of 350 animals, including around 200 free-roaming cats! Between food, blankets, care, and cat houses… it’s overwhelming!
