APAHC decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of canned food is highly critical.
Mignonne is a two and a half month old kitten. She still suckles but her mother likely doesn't produce enough milk, as she is small and very scrawny.
She also has worms, which doesn't help matters! But for now, we haven't been able to get close enough to her to administer treatment.
Mignonne stays outdoors with her mum and her siblings, between a village and a forest. Unfortunately, she has nowhere to take shelter. As such, she lives in the scrubland, at the mercy of many predators…
In order to efficiently replenish with good nutrients and gradually wean off the milk, Mignonne will need canned food suited for kittens.
Having access to food so rich in protein and vitamins would really benefit her future growth! Over time, we would be able to approach her more easily, in order to deworm her and provide the best possible care.
This year, we've had many births. Many kittens were ill, adding to our expenses that we're struggling to cover…
Indeed, we already have 350 animals to care for, including about 200 stray cats! With the cost of food, blankets, medical care, shelving… we're overwhelmed!
