Damaged eyes, stunted growth: poor Mia has a bad case of cat flu!

1. Her eyes are badly damaged...

Mia is a nearly three-month-old kitten, who was found outside with her mum. Unfortunately, her eyes are very badly damaged due to cat flu.

Because of the illness that drains all her energy, she has experienced severe stunted growth and she's very frail: she weighs less than a kilogram! We are therefore giving her treatment, hoping to alleviate her suffering...

2. Blankets would protect her from the cold this autumn

To guard against the dampness this autumn, Mia could really do with a set of blankets. She could snug up in them to rest and feel safe. Her sleep would then be much more restorative!

3. Over thirty kittens need us!

A lot of kittens have arrived this year, and as is often the case, this goes hand in hand with large expenses, particularly for their care. We currently have about thirty to look after - it's a huge burden for our small budget!
