Poor Albert was trapped in a river mouth, in a dreadful state!

1. He was in dire straits!

Albert is a cat of around eight years, who was found at the start of June in a river mouth. When we got him out of there, he was in a critical condition: He was notably very anaemic…

2. He caught pneumonia…

Two days after his arrival, Albert started showing symptoms of pneumonia. He's now on a course of treatment (steroids and antibiotics) and regularly receives oxygen. He's just beginning to recover and gain weight.

3. Blankets would protect him from the cold this autumn

Physically frail, Albert could really do with a set of blankets. He could curl up in them for rest and keep away from any damp. His sleep would be all the more recuperative!

4. Over thirty kittens need our help!

A lot of kittens have arrived this year, which often means substantial expenses, particularly for their healthcare. Right now, we have around thirty to look after… it's a huge strain on our modest budget!
