“I have around 164 dogs today. It never stops… Abandonments, people leaving dogs at the shelter door… I can’t close my eyes, I take them in. Because they’re here. They exist. They’re alive. What else can I do? But every time, it means more mouths to feed.
The situation is worse than before. I have no means, no staff, and my health is collapsing. Nothing is going right… Food has become my biggest problem. There’s no stock left! I feed low-quality kibble mixed with bread. And sometimes, I only give bread…
Since July, I’ve been cutting rations. Now, I buy day by day, when I can. My dogs are hungry all the time. They’re skinny… I feel powerless, exhausted, disgusted. If there’s no money, how can I buy kibble? Without this campaign, it’s not even a matter of whether we’ll collapse or not, it’s only a matter of when…”
2. The dogs have lost a lot of weight, some are sick... The weakest ones are already on borrowed time without kibble.
“The lack of kibble is devastating. My dogs are thin, they have diarrhea, their teeth are damaged… They’ve lost a lot of weight.
I can feel the tension rising. No serious aggression yet, but it’s building up. I’m afraid they’ll attack each other. I live with that fear constantly.
Without kibble, it will only get worse. Illnesses, weight loss, weakened immune systems, fights… I’ll lose the most fragile ones. And I don’t have the strength to watch them die of hunger.”
3. Hit by a car, weakened by hunger; poor Mhamid didn’t survive… This campaign is vital to save the others.
“I rescued Mhamid not long ago. A woman called me: he had been hit by a car. When I arrived, he was already in very bad shape, but I wanted to give him a chance.
He fought with all his strength. But he was too weak… the lack of kibble, the delayed veterinary care because of no funds, all of it ended up taking his life. Despite my will, I couldn’t give him what he needed to recover.
Losing Mhamid is an immense pain… a life gone, an awful injustice. And I know that without the success of this campaign, other dogs will face the same fate…”
4. Without donations and covered in debt, Ibtissam can no longer even provide the bare minimum for her dogs...
“Financially, it’s a disaster. I have no means at all, sometimes I get no donations at all in a month… Zero. Nothing. I owe money everywhere: kibble supplier, vets, friends here and abroad. My debts are enormous.
I tried many things to raise money. Nothing worked. All my initiatives for help have failed. I can’t even cover veterinary care anymore, I can’t buy enough food for everyone. Even the rent, I can’t keep up. The situation has never been this bad…
This campaign is vital. Without kibble, my dogs won’t survive. Neither will I…”

“I’ve been fighting for animals for years. But today, I’m sick, exhausted, at my limit. My anemia is severe, my immune system is weak. I can’t even be there with them all the time.
But I keep going. Because they’re here. They exist. I always say: if it were just a project, I would have quit long ago. But these are lives. I can’t turn my back.
I can’t do this alone. It’s impossible. It has already cost me my health, my finances, everything. I need support. Every bag of kibble is a life saved. You save my dogs, you save my life too.”
