Weight loss, exhaustion: Istica has been very weak since the birth of her cub!

1. She weakened after giving birth and breastfeeding…

Istica is a two-and-a-half-year-old cow, who we took in last year. She gave birth a month ago and is nursing her calf. Weakened, thin and with large udders, she risked infection. A second calf was therefore given to her.

2. Pellets would help her regain her strength

A suitable and nutritious diet, such as pellets, would be ideal to supplement Istica. Such food would help her maintain her condition, to nurse her calves while staying in shape.

3. The summer drought has directly impacted our budget!

Feeding the hundred or so animals that count on us is very expensive! With the drought this summer, we had to buy even more hay and pellets out of our own pocket... but we won't be able to carry on like this forever!
