Adele is a tiny, one-month-old kitten who fell from a first-floor balcony on her 10th day of life. She was living in a squalid room, littered with excrement and even the bodies of other cats!
Upon her arrival, Adele was infested with fleas and worms. She's also suffering from cat flu, her eyes are matted, her nose is blocked and she has a fever.
We are currently deworming her and treating her as best we can, including giving her an antibiotic treatment in her food.
Adele is already being given formula milk, but she also needs kitten-specific canned food. This will help her regain strength, better tolerate her treatments and develop normally, despite her difficult start in life.
At present, requests for us to take in cats far exceed our capacity. We receive nearly thirty calls a day!
With 75 cats in foster care, including 64 kittens, we are completely overwhelmed! This is much more than our budget can handle...
