Poor Demeter lives outside, even though she's not at all well...

1. She's struggling to eat...

Demeter is a seven-year-old cat that we've had spayed. Recently, she's been drooling a lot and finding it hard to eat kibble. We fear she might have contracted calicivirus...

2. She lives outdoors!

Demeter was found outside with her kittens. While her little ones have since been adopted, she had to be returned to her original site because she was too wild and couldn't tolerate indoor living.

So, she now lives outside, near a stormwater basin. Unfortunately, she has no shelter there, and the location is very exposed to the elements!

3. With a kennel, she could shelter from the rain

A kennel would provide Demeter with a place to hide from the elements. We would keep food and blankets there, so she would have everything she needs to survive the winter easily at hand.

4. A hundred free cats are counting on us!

Like many small associations, we have significant expenses for vet fees and feeding our wards.

In previous years, we were able to organise collection trolleys. Unfortunately, the store that used to welcome us no longer accepts collections for animal causes... We are, therefore, finding it increasingly difficult to keep up!
