Weight loss, coughing, purulent nose: poor Cookie has a tumor!

1. She has a lung tumour...

Cookie is a 16-year-old cat who has a lung tumour. She's been coughing a lot and has lost a lot of weight recently because of it. A lot of pus was coming out of her nose.

We have therefore put an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory treatment in place, until we can give her a lung X-ray to find out more.

2. She's struggling to eat!

With age, Cookie's teeth have become particularly damaged. It's become very complicated for her - if not impossible - to eat dry food...

3. Blankets would keep her warm.

With the arrival of autumn and the damp weather, Cookie is becoming more vulnerable. A set of blankets would be perfect to help her more easily retain her body heat and preserve her strength.

4. The costs are astronomical!

Many of our charges are ill and require expensive treatments. In total, we have 83 cats depending on us, which generates hefty vet bills! We no longer have the funds to purchase specialised food, blankets, and houses for those in need!
