Exhaustion, weight loss: poor Pomme is suffering from kidney failure!

1. Her kidneys aren't functioning properly anymore...

Pomme, a 14-year-old female cat, has been but a shadow of herself lately. We took her in and subjected her to a number of medical tests to identify her problem.

Regrettably, she has been diagnosed with renal failure. Her creatinine and urea levels are elevated, indicating severe fatigue and significant weight loss, especially in her hindquarters. We have her on medication, with the hope of stabilising her condition.

2. Blankets would help keep her warm

A pile of blankets would provide Pomme with a cosy spot to rest. The onset of autumn could cause her bodily warmth to decrease, but these blankets would provide her with shelter from the damp and help maintain her body heat.

3. The approach of winter worries us!

Taking into account the kittens, sick adult cats, and mounting veterinary costs, our financial resources are critically low! We need to prepare for the incoming winter and increased dampness. Your generosity would be more than welcome in helping us replenish our stores of food, blankets, and shelters for the creatures under our care!
