1. Arrived sick and infested...

Rubis is a month-old kitten who was abandoned at just 20 days old. He was covered in fleas and riddled with worms, so we dewormed him. Unfortunately, he has cat flu: his nose is running, his eyes are all gummed up, and he has a fever.

2. He will soon have to be released outdoors!

Currently, we are bottle feeding Rubis indoors. However, due to the number of our protected animals, we can't keep him in our premises indefinitely, and will have to release him onto the foundation's land once winter is over. Once outdoors, he will have nowhere to shelter...

3. A cat house would provide valuable shelter

With a cat house, Rubis would have somewhere to take refuge in bad weather once he's been released outside. Having a roof over his head would allow him to sleep better, which would be invaluable for his continued growth.

4. It’s a nightmare!

We've never seen so many abandoned animals since our foundation was established. This year, there are particularly many kittens, a lot of which have cat flu and live outside with nowhere to go.

Caring for them and feeding them requires a massive budget! Sadly, we don't have room to take them in, nor do we have enough budget to provide them with blankets and cat houses...
