Xena is a three-year-old cat suffering from a very virulent strain of cat flu, despite treatment. The disease has chronically set in, causing exhausting symptoms: her nose is completely blocked and her eyes constantly run!
Xena suffers from chronic diarrhoea. We've treated her for giardiasis, but it seems she continues to suffer from the aftermath. As her immune system is compromised, she hasn't been able to recover and has lost a significant amount of weight.
Extremely timid, Xena can't cope with being indoors. Therefore, she spends all her time outside, even when it's raining! With the onset of cold and damp weather, we're worried for her…
Fleece blankets would be perfect to keep Xena warm this autumn. Not having to sleep on damp, dirty ground would bring her great comfort, and would allow her to have some precious rest.
Despite all our efforts, we collect very little during our fundraising events. Consequently, the association is starting to run short of food for the cats in our care…
With winter approaching, we also need blankets and shelters. Without these, our poor cats may not survive!
