Urania was so ill that she had to be rushed to the hospital!

1. She was found in a critical condition...

Urania is a barely three-year-old cat that was found in the street in a devastating state. Due to a severe case of calicivirus, she had to be hospitalised and put on a feeding tube, as she was severely malnourished.

And with reason; she had holes in her tongue and so many ulcers in her mouth that she couldn't eat at all. She's just beginning to recover, thanks to the treatment...

2. Canned food would help her to eat painlessly

A wet diet would be less irritating to Urania's oral mucosa than kibble. She'd just have to let the paste slip down her throat without needing to chew it. After everything she's been through, being able to eat again without difficulty would be a huge relief for her!

3. We're in over our heads!

In just two years, we've taken in an additional 70 animals. Between the 320 feral cats and the 35 toms from the Cat-LM, our food budget has skyrocketed!

In total, we're looking at around 8,000 euros for food expenses, and a whopping 36,000 euros for veterinary costs. Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer members, and people are giving us less donations due to inflation...
