Mouth ulcers, inflamed gums, difficulty in eating: Blacky has a serious case of calicivirus!

Patoche is a cat of around 10 years old, who has recently stopped eating. Due to calicivirus, he's lost several teeth and has lost substantial weight. He also has ulcers in his mouth which cause him discomfort when he attempts to eat. We're currently treating him, but it's challenging as he's a particularly wild personality.
Wet food, such as canned pate, would be easier for Patoche to consume than dry kibble.
It would also serve as a good incentive to boost his appetite, encouraging him to regain his strength by eating regularly. This would progressively help him put on weight, whilst also increasing his comfort and trust in our presence.
We've taken on new cases, despite already caring for 200 protected animals, as there are always more animals in distress than we can handle.
But with rising costs and the ongoing economic crisis, we've stopped receiving donations altogether. We're caught in a never-ending cycle: people are adopting less and surrendering their animals more frequently…
