Poor Biscotte was overrun with flies and maggots!

1. He was in a horrific state!

Biscotte is a 12-year-old dog who has suffered from severe neglect. When he arrived, he was infested with flies and maggots.

Suffering from an infection, he was taken to the vet. The vet then asked us to look after him. Suffering from spinal arthrosis, he struggles to walk.

2. He has to take lifelong medication...

Biscotte has Addison's disease: his adrenal glands don't work, so his cortisol levels are zero. This is very taxing for him! He therefore must take medication to remain stable.

3. He needs canned food to regain his strength

Food specially formulated for senior dogs would be ideal for Biscotte. Easy to eat and highly digestible, such food would help him regain his strength by providing him with a daily dose of vitamins and nutrients.

4. The abandonment rate is soaring...

There are more and more abandonments, and animals are arriving in catastrophic states. Currently, we have over 89 dogs to take care of! Our food stocks are dwindling and as winter approaches, we don't know how we will cope!
