Trapped in a fire, poor Tefla still lives on site... she is completely traumatised!

1. She's traumatised!

Tefla is a nine-month-old kitten who is located at a site where a fire had taken place. Poor thing is so terrified and disorientated that we haven’t managed to catch her yet. She is very thin and probably has burns on the underside of her paws...

2. She still lives on-site, outdoors...

Poor Tefla is still living on-site, amidst the ash, with no shelter. All trees have burned down, leaving her without any landmarks or any place to go...!

3. A cat house would protect her from bad weather

A cat house would provide a roof for Tefla, while we strive to catch her. In it, she could find refuge and enjoy a little cocoon just for her, after the horror that she has been through. It could also shelter her from the wind and rain.

4. The fires have wrought havoc...

Following the fires in Aude, our association had to undertake numerous rescues. Two feeding sites were affected, and many cats were severely burned!

We arrange for them to be fostered as we can, but it's really difficult as we had already been short on places. We also do not have the resources to purchase food, blankets and cat houses for all these cats who are in urgent need...
