1. She has lung problems…

Bichette is a 25-year-old donkey who suffers from reoccurring heaves. She particularly struggles with breathing and coughs a great deal. We're going to run tests on her to ensure she isn't also suffering from Cushing's disease.

2. Pellets would provide the energy she needs

A nutritious and high-quality source of vitamins and minerals in the form of pellets would be precious for Bichette. We would moisten them to make them easier for her to ingest. This would be an effective way for her to maintain her health, despite her health issues.

3. Few people feel connected to our cause…

People have other concerns at the moment than supporting animal welfare. Hence, donations are less substantial. Providing for the needs of our wards and the newly rescued animals has therefore become increasingly complicated…
