1. In France, Lysandra has run out of kibble to feed the 166 street cats that rely on her... The poor creatures risk starving to death!

"At this time, 166 stray cats spread across 12 feeding sites need our help. Regrettably, our kibble stock has hit rock bottom, because the association's finances do not allow us to purchase any more. The feeders supply it in dribs and drabs, but their budget is insufficient to satisfy all the street cats.

Whilst the cats at some sites are not getting enough food, they are becoming increasingly emaciated, falling ill more quickly and getting into fights… With winter on the horizon, we are hugely concerned for what lies ahead!"

2. For months, our calls for donations have gone unanswered!

"This summer, we ended up running two more sterilisation programmes than in previous years. As a result, we currently have a vet bill of 4,000 euros that we cannot afford to pay off, as donations are too few and far between…

Despite this, we are still having to take care of an ever-growing number of cats. No less than 18 kittens were discovered at one new site! That's just as many additional mouths to feed… the situation is rapidly spiralling out of control!"

3. Exhausted, malnourished and skeletal, Shira won't survive without kibble!

"Shira is a three-year-old cat who has always lived on the street. Following a number of pregnancies, poor Shira is completely worn out. She was so drained that she had no milk and was unable to care for her latest kittens!

Malnourished and severely tested by the harsh living conditions on the street, she is skeletal. Her immune system is also extremely weak. At any moment, she could catch the cat flu, as an epidemic is currently raging where she is located… We fear she won't make it through the winter if we don't have any more kibble to give her!"

4. Lysandra isn't asking for money, only kibble to prevent the street cats from starving to death.

"I'm overseeing one of the feeding areas, as well as handling numerous procedures. Running the association and looking after the needy cats is extremely time-consuming...

Every evening, after my day job, it's essentially the start of another workday! But I can't abandon all these suffering creatures, particularly with winter drawing near..."
