Blocked nose, watery eyes, exhaustion: little Capucine has caught cat flu!

1. She's very ill!

Capucine is a roughly four month old kitten that we found fending for herself at a feeding spot. Unfortunately, she contracted cat flu, a virus common among street cats and potentially lethal to kittens.

Her nose is running, her eyes are purulent, and she is experiencing stunted growth. We are currently looking after her, doing our best to help her through this.

2. Appropriate canned food could help her regain some much-needed weight

Food specially designed for kittens would be perfect for Capucine. As well as helping her stay hydrated, such canned food would offer all the nutrients her body needs to grow properly. This energy source would be precious for continuing her growth despite the virus.

3. We're struggling!

The association is constantly asked to take on more animals in need. We've had to purchase cat food for the street cats ourselves, meaning we no longer have the budget to buy appropriate canned food for cats who need it.
