Multiple injuries, holes in the abdomen: weakened by hepatitis, poor Harry was attacked by a marten!

1. He was gravely injured!

Harry is a year and a half old cat, who was found severely injured at a feeding site.

He had wounds all over his body and about ten punctures in his abdomen, resulting from a marten attack. An antibiotic treatment was established to prevent infections in his wounds.

2. He is very sick...

Harry has a massive hepatitis. He was anaemic and looked skeletal when he first arrived a month ago. We are therefore giving him treatment and iron supplements, to help him recover.

3. Canned food could help him gain weight

A diet rich in vitamins, minerals and proteins would be ideal for Harry. Such canned food would not only help him rehydrate but also provide all the nutrients his body needs to gain weight. This energy source would be precious to him, given what he's been through!

4. We cannot cope!

The association is constantly asked to take on new cases. We have had to buy kibble for the free-roaming cats ourselves, hence we no longer have a budget to purchase the necessary canned food for the cats in need.
