Due to lung problems, Moumoune has lost condition!

1. She is weakened by pulmonary issues...

Moumoune is a 20-year-old mare, who was extremely underweight when she arrived a year ago (she was at least 75 kg lighter). As she suffers from heaves, the summer heat has worsened her condition and she has lost a lot of weight. We are currently administring treatment in the hope of alleviating her symptoms.

2. Pellets could facilitate quick weight gain

A supplement such as moistened pellets would be great for helping Moumoune to rapidly gain energy for the winter. She would then be more resistant to the cold, and less likely to develop coughing fits due to dust.

3. Winter exacerbates our already fragile situation...

Due to the summer drought, we had to start supplementing the horses' diets early. Our supplies are dwindling, and we are not receiving enough donations to restock. Managing everything financially on my own is becoming increasingly difficult... and it's even harder in winter!
