Nose cancer, cat flu, gingivitis: having spent 8 years in a cage, poor Mathilde can no longer stand being indoors, even though she's very unwell...

1. She's not doing well...

Mathilde is an 11-year-old cat, who sadly has nose cancer. Added to that, she has a severe case of cat flu, causing her eyes to well up with tears and triggering debilitating sneezing episodes!

2. She struggles to eat...

With aging, Mathilde has lost many teeth. Now, with only her fangs remaining and suffering from inflamed gums, she is unable to chew which makes feeding an ordeal. Eating dry cat food, or kibble, is simply impossible for her.

3. Traumatised, she now lives outdoors...

Before she arrived with us, poor Mathilde was kept locked in a cage for eight years. Consequently, she can no longer bear to stay indoors.

She spends all her time outdoors, even when it rains! With the onset of the cold, damp weather, we are worried for her safety...

4. Wet food could help her regain her strength

Canned food suitable for her age would provide Mathilde with a protein source easier to consume than kibble. Healthy and balanced, such a diet could effectively help her rejuvenate and regain energy - a real lifeline for her!

5. Winter is coming and we're concerned...

Despite all our efforts, we gather very little during our food drive campaigns. The association is therefore starting to run low on food supply for our furred wards...

With winter approaching, we also need blankets and cat houses. Without these, our feline friends may not endure!
