Damaged eyes, multiple injuries, missing teeth: life outdoors has not been kind to poor Mont Blanc!

1. He is in a pitiful state!

Mont Blanc is a cat of about 12 years who's in poor health due to his constant fighting (despite being neutered). He's also had a serious bout of cat flu in the past which has left him with lasting damage: his vision is impaired. With age, he’s also lost many teeth, making it difficult for him to eat!

2. He has no shelter...

Mont Blanc lives outside. Sadly, he has nowhere to take shelter, apart from a polystyrene shelter which is letting in water...

3. Warm blankets would protect him from the cold this winter

With a set of fleece blankets, Mont Blanc would no longer have to sleep directly on the damp and frozen ground. With winter approaching, this would be a genuine relief for him! He could finally rest more comfortably.

4. We lack the funds needed to carry out our mission effectively!

We have recently taken on many new responsibilities, which has raised the number of our protectees to around forty.

The city council only gives us a 500 euro grant per year, which is far from covering all the costs. Unfortunately, donations are nowhere near enough and have not increased!
