Aloé is a four-month-old kitten who was found at the side of the road with a severe disability. She could have been run over!
Suffering from ataxia, she has trouble walking due to a neurological condition that causes her to lose balance. She also shakes a lot and can't jump. That's why we decided to take her in and look after her.
A wet food diet for kittens would enable Aloé to easily get plenty of vitamins, protein and minerals. Not only would such canned food strengthen her vulnerable body, but it would also keep her hydrated. In this way, she could continue to grow despite her disability!
We have taken in many new animals recently, which has brought the number of our charges up to around forty.
The local council only gives us a grant of 500 euros per year, which is far from covering all costs. Unfortunately, donations are far from enough and haven't increased!
