1. She's struggling to eat because of calicivirus!

Pixie is a six-year-old feline who has unfortunately caught a severe case of calicivirus. The inside of her mouth is so inflamed that she is drooling significantly and finding it very difficult to eat. To alleviate her discomfort, we're going to administer cortisone as a reliever.

2. She lives outside with nowhere to shelter...

Pixie is living in the open, at a feeding site. The area is damp and provides no sheltering spots apart from a few shrubs... With the intensifying cold, our concern for Pixie is really mounting!

3. A outdoor house would protect her from the elements

With an outdoor house, Pixie would no longer have to sleep exposed to the wind and rain. Having a roof to shelter under would allow her to rest better this winter. It would be a true game-changer for her!

4. Epidemics are rampant...

The number of stray cats is so high that we're planning to carry out a sterilisation campaign to curb their ever-growing population. As they are living outdoors, it's incredibly challenging to contain the spread of epidemics...

This year, many have contracted calicivirus! In total, we are currently looking after no less than 45 needy tomcats...
