Watson was rescued from a breeding farm where he was given neither water nor food!

1. He was in a pitiful state...

Watson is a sheep of around 10 years, who lives in an paddock with several shelters. He arrived at the sanctuary towards the end of 2018, from a farm where he received neither water nor food. He arrived with scabies and in a pitiful state... Today, Watson is suffering from arthritis and we have to regularly administer anti-inflammatories. He weakens each winter and it's crucial that he is supplemented.

2. Pellets would allow him to get through winter with peace of mind

To continue regaining his strength despite his arthritis, Watson is going to need to be supplemented. Pellets would be perfect for him! They'd allow him to replenish his essential nutrients on a daily basis and get through the tough winter period with ease, despite his tendency to lose weight.

3. We are desperately short on resources!

The sanctuary doesn't receive any financial aid or subsidies. In winter, costs increase and it becomes more and more challenging to cope with all the expenditures. Our residents need to eat every day and we have to pay the vet and cover lifelong treatments, some of which are very costly.
