Found starving and mistreated, Oreo needs protection to survive the winter outdoors!

1. He was probably mistreated...

About a month ago, we found Oréo starving and in a pitiful state. He constantly meows and is very wary, leading us to believe that he has most likely been mistreated in the past. Since a few days, we've been able to get close enough to him to feed him, but he remains on his guard...

2. A kennel would provide him with a safe shelter

After all he's been through, Oreo needs a shelter where he can feel safe. He currently lives outdoors on our property along with other feral cats. A kennel would offer him a dry and isolated spot to escape to, well protected from the cold and bad weather. This would be a positive step towards slowly rebuilding his trust, whilst also keeping warm.

3. 20 feral cats depend on us, but we can no longer afford it...

For months, our small team has been looking after 20 feral cats every day. They live outdoors, without shelter, but never without attention. We feed and monitor them daily. But winter is coming, and they sleep on the frozen ground. Everything rests on the shoulders of our president, who has been financing this mission alone since the beginning. Without any subsidies or outside help, she can no longer cope!
