Margot almost died last year and suffered a massive weight loss!

1. She narrowly escaped death...

Margot is a six-year-old ewe who was born at our refuge in February 2019. Her mother had been rescued from a farm where she was neither fed nor given water, and suffered from scabies. Despite these harsh conditions, she managed to give birth to Margot. Last year, Margot fell seriously ill and nearly passed away. Following this, she experienced a significant weight loss and has required supplement feeding all year round...

2. Pellets could help her regain strength

Pellets could be essential in helping Margot regain the health she lost due to her severe illness. This extra supplementation would allow her to get a daily dose of vitamins and minerals, and provide her with the energy she needs to regain weight and improve her overall health.

3. We can no longer manage on our own!

The refuge receives no financial support or grants. In winter, the costs rise considerably, and it becomes increasingly difficult to cope with all the expenses. Our residents need to eat every day and we must cover veterinary bills, especially as some of them require lifelong treatments which are very expensive...
