Confined in a cage, poor Merlin couldn't develop normally!

1. His difficult childhood has left marks...

Merlin is a goat of about 6 years old, who arrived at the sanctuary a little over 5 years ago. When he arrived, he was minute as he had been confined in a cage, preventing him from growing normally. After some time at the sanctuary, his health improved and he resumed normal growth, but he remains fragile and needs regular supplement feed to stay healthy.

2. Supplemental feed is crucial for him

To maintain Merlin's condition, despite the remnants of his tough past, pellets are essential. Such supplementation would enable him to continue thriving and to compensate for the deficiencies of his disrupted development. It would give him a chance to maintain strength all year round.

3. We are running out of resources!

The sanctuary gets no financial assistance or subsidies. During winter, expenses skyrocket and it becomes increasingly challenging to meet all costs. Our residents need to eat daily and we need to pay the vet's bills, especially since some animals require lifelong treatments which are very expensive...
