Suffering from an unexplained illness, Jena lives outside and needs warmth!

1. She was abandoned

Jena is a 5-year-old cat who was living in an abandoned farm before being rescued. As a feral cat, we positioned her in a feeding area to monitor, feed, and provide care when needed. Since rescuing her, she has presented an odd condition; from one day to the next, Jena can suddenly stop eating altogether.

2. She can suddenly stop eating...

From one day to the next, and episodically, Jena might refuse to eat entirely. All veterinary checks have been carried out, but nothing truly explains this behaviour... When this happens, she receives an injection of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, as well as corticosteroids to alleviate any potential pain.

3. Blankets would help her recover

Blankets could help Jena rest warmly between her difficult episodes. They would be a good means for her to retain body heat and overall energy, and recover better after veterinary treatments.

4. Our stocks are exhausted!

Our small association has been working since December 2019 to help cats. We feed 166 feral cats every day, take care of weaned or unweaned kittens, domestic cats, and wild cats. We also run sterilisation campaigns.

The end of summer has depleted our stocks, and we've incurred hefty veterinary costs for complex situations. We need help to continue feeding all our animal wards!
