Seized due to abuse, poor Wa haut de d'la still suffers from severe repercussions!

1. She was a victim of abuse...

Wa haut de d’la is a 9-year-old mare that we rescued following a seizure for abuse. She was suffering from malnutrition and showed numerous untreated wounds. Despite the care provided, she still bears the scars from her past... She has numerous scars, a deformed knee, locomotive issues and suffers from arthritis.

2. Pellets would help her maintain her condition

Supplementation with pellets would be ideal for Wa haut de d’la. This would allow her to meet her significant dietary needs (she is a very active mare in spite of her past) and maintain her condition despite the physical consequences she suffers from.

3. Extremely high vet bills put us in difficulty...

We have faced extremely high vet bills this summer, between June and August, for a total amount of 4000€. Between Plonker's dental abscess, the care for Jupiter we failed to save despite all our efforts, the examinations for Quetzal, who was lost due to a tumour that caused internal haemorrhage, and Fraise's eye ulcer... These expenses put us in great financial difficulty!
