The association SOS Chats Libres Haut-Béarn decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of canned food is highly critical.

Gum inflammation, missing teeth: poor Souki keeps suffering from repeated bouts of gingivitis!

1. She can't chew anymore!

Souki is a tortoiseshell cat of about 11 years old who suffers from recurrent gingivitis. Her gums are very inflamed, so some of her teeth had to be extracted to ease her pain. Unfortunately, she can no longer eat dry food...

2. She lives outside…

Souki lives outside, on a secure plot of land. The poor girl has no place to shelter! Weakened by her age and health problems, we fear her condition may worsen with the winter…

3. Canned food would enable her to regain her strength

A moist diet that is easy to swallow would be most suitable for Souki. Specially designed for senior cats, such canned food would allow her to regain energy, without the risk of exacerbating her health issues. Having access to such nutritious food daily would also help her better withstand the winter.

4. We are lacking the necessary funds...

Many of our charges have health issues, but we just do not have the resources to buy the food and shelter they need. Any help in this regard would be most valuable!
