Trapped in a fire, poor Tefla still lives on the spot... she is completely traumatised!

1. She is traumatised!

Tefla is a nine-month-old kitten found on a site where a fire had taken place. Poor thing is so terrified and disoriented that we haven't yet managed to catch her. She's very skinny and likely has burns under her paws...

2. She still lives on-site, outdoors...

Poor Tefla is still living on the spot, amidst the ashes, with no shelter. All the trees have burned down, so she has lost all her landmarks, with no place to go!

3. Blankets would protect her from the cold

A bundle of blankets would enable us to arrange a cosy corner for Tefla, while waiting to catch her. It would provide her with a refuge and a small haven of comfort, after the horror she has gone through. When night falls, she would be better protected from the cold and the damp.

4. The fires have wreaked havoc...

Following the fires that took place in Aude, our association had to take in numerous animals. Two feeding sites were affected, and many cats suffered severe burns!

We're placing them in foster homes as and when we can, but it's really difficult, because we were already short of places. We also don't have the means to buy food, blankets, and shelters for all these cats who are in urgent need...
