Found excessively thin on the street, Mailo no longer has any teeth!

1. He was found in a terrible state...

Mailo is a 5-year-old Maine Coon, who we took in about 4 years ago. We found him alone on the streets, neither identified nor neutered. He was incredibly underweight and in a pitiful state, very fearful... We never located his original owners, so we placed him in a foster home and helped him recover.

2. He has no teeth left...

Mailo receives regular care for oral problems. Despite the care provided, he unfortunately had to undergo a full tooth removal. Without his teeth, he can no longer chew dry food to eat.

3. Canned food would help him eat easily

A wet food diet would be ideal for Mailo. This would allow him to eat with ease despite the lack of teeth, and to continue to regain strength after his difficult past.

4. Feeding 50 cats is becoming increasingly challenging...

We have around 50 cats under our care, several of whom suffer from mouth diseases. Feeding them is becoming more and more expensive for our small charity. We organise car boot sales, collections and markets to make up for the financial shortfall, but it is becoming tougher to feed all our charges despite our best efforts...
