Little Leonie was left to fend for herself, by the side of a river!

1. She was terrified…

Leonie is a one and a half month old kitten who found refuge with her brother near a river, during the fires. She was terrified, her paws were wet and she is extremely skinny… She is currently under observation at the vet's.

2. Blankets would offer her some comfort

A batch of blankets would allow us to create a cosy spot for Leonie to rest. While helping her maintain body warmth, the blankets would provide a more calm and regenerating sleep. This softness would be a real comfort for her after what she has been through!

3. The fires caused havoc…

Following the fires in Aude, our association had to take in many cats. Two feeding sites were hit, and many cats were severely burned!

We are placing them in foster homes as we go, but it's really complicated, as we already lack room. We also don't have the funds to buy food, blankets, and shelters for all these cats who urgently need them…
