Dehydration, watery eyes, dry tongue: poor Nichouin got stuck in a fire!

1. He survived a fire...

Nichouin is a kitten of about a month old who was found alone, near a site where a fire had occurred. The poor little one had a parched nose and tongue, eye discharge and the onset of cat flu. He was also completely dehydrated! We therefore placed him in a foster home to take care of him.

2. Blankets would give him a bit of comfort

A set of blankets would enable us to create a cosy corner for Nichouin to rest. In addition to helping him maintain his body heat better, some throws would allow him to have a more peaceful and restorative sleep. Such comfort would be real solace for him, after all he has been through!

3. The fires caused massive devastations...

Following the fires in Aude, our association had to take in many cats. Two feeding sites were affected, and many cats were severely burned!

We are placing them in foster homes as and when we can, but it's really challenging since we were already lacking space. We also do not have the means to purchase food, blankets and shelters for all these cats who urgently need them...
