Fever, tongue lesion, leukaemia: Moussa was on death's door when he arrived!

1. He nearly didn't make it!

Moussa is a three-year-old cat who was abandoned in a critical condition. With a 40°C fever and a severe tongue lesion, he had to be hospitalised. He is now on antibiotics and a cortisone treatment.

2. He's very frail...

As a carrier of feline leukemia, Moussa has a weakened immune system and is failing to recover from the calicivirus.

His condition is thus regularly declining, often requiring hospitalisation due to new tongue lesions… There's even been a lesion on his leg where he was given an IV!

3. He needs canned food to regain his strength

A rich and balanced diet would help Moussa effectively recharge. Having regular access to such food would allow him to regain some strength and better cope with his health troubles. It would also be a good way to maintain his weight.

4. Twenty additional cats have arrived all at once!

We have once again taken in many distressed cats. Following a seizure, nearly twenty new cats are now counting on us, in addition to the ones we were already caring for! The cost of feeding all these new mouths all at once is an expense our budget can't absorb...
