1. Separated too early from her mother, she is very fragile...

Ka is an 11-year-old mare who was separated from her mother at an early age. Due to this, she did not grow normally and is the size of a pony, even though she is a thoroughbred.

She also loses condition easily and fails to produce a winter coat. Therefore, she is much more vulnerable to the cold than her peers...

2. Pellets would allow her to gain strength

To regain strength effectively, Ka will need pellets. These give high nutritional intake, therefore, daily supplementation would help her maintain her condition, despite the cold and her vulnerabilities. This would allow her to navigate more serenely through winter!

3. We are running short of food for our equines...

With the winter chill, the animals require more food. Our stock of pellets is running out quickly!
