1. A parasite is causing him digestive issues...

Sherlock is a three-year-old cat who has contracted giardiasis, a disease caused by an intestinal parasite.

He is enduring diarrhoea and vomiting, which are causing him to be so exhausted that he spends all his time sleeping. He's also significantly lost weight. Therefore, we're giving him treatment and carefully monitoring his condition.

2. With suitable canned food, he could regain strength

Food that is easy-to-digest and specifically designed to ease digestive issues can help Sherlock to healthily regain his strength. It would offer him a chance to recoup, allowing him to maintain a normal weight in spite of his illness.

3. The charity is struggling to make ends meet...

Ends of months are particularly difficult as we don't receive any donations. Sick cats that need shelter and specific food, however, keep coming... Financially, managing the sixty animals that depend on us has become challenging!
