Malnourished and trapped in a cage, poor Albane could have not made it...

1. He was cruelly deprived of food!

Albane is a two-month-old kitten with significant growth delay. He only weighed 310 grams when we took him into our care. Locked up with his mother in a rabbit hutch, he had a very difficult start in life (they were living in their own excrement).

Since his mother was fed only on bread, she had no milk, and Albane was deprived of nourishment. Thus, we took responsibility for him and are presently feeding him using a syringe.

2. Canned food would help him gain strength

A diet specifically designed for kittens would be ideal for Albane. Being able to eat his fill would provide him with essential nutrients. He could then continue growing with a bit more stability…

3. We are so overwhelmed with kittens!

We still have 60 kittens to care for. Some are still on site and suffering from cat flu. This year has been truly catastrophic! Every year, it just gets worse... Currently, we have no less than 200 animals to look after!
